On November 11th I was honored by receiving Patra #74 from a very special friend as I held the vessel I thought about the journey it will have and was so excited to be a part of it.Once I got the vessel home I cradled it in my hands and reflected on my years of getting to know and love this friend who gave me just enough.
The morning of March 8th I packed up patra #74 as I held it in my hand for the last time before passing it on, I was struck once again by it’s beautiful gold colors that seemed to be making the room glow gold excited to be passing it along but almost sad to see the gold go.I decided to pass it along to an incredible artist of dance who has choreographed dances inspired by other art works specifically at the M.O.G. I decided that would be where I would present her with the patra .
I just wanted to say hello to another Lauralee…..that is not a name seen often. My name is also Lauralee although my friends call me Laurie; I have always loved the full name for special times. Tonight reading your review, I felt a connection. Such fun. This is a wonderful experience connecting with others enjoying so much from these powerful vessels. We are all Blessed. Lauralee AKA Laurie
I received the gorgeous patra #74 just before a performance at the Tacoma Museum of Glass. I am still stunned by its energy and beauty. The initial owner is a long time friend and wondrously it now has been shared with me.
