I have the fortunate experience of working with Lynda as her studio assistant and am deeply honored to be part of the Patra Passage. From this project, I am inspired by the conversations that have been created surrounding the compassionate acts of giving and receiving. When all vessels and bases were in the studio prior to the event, they themselves created a canvas of color and form…it was truly mesmerizing.
My attempt to get family involved with the vessel
I joined with my dear friend Wendi last week at the Pt. Defiance beach to send off Vessel #97. We gathered heart-shaped rocks and then added them to the vessel, each with a blessing. Blessings ranged from being thankful for the sun peeking through the dense fog to global peace. This vessel will be cherished and cared for by an individual who cherishes each moment and cares for others wholeheartedly. Peace.
Wendi Fein, whom I’d never met, received GRANDMOTHER POWER as a gift and decided to give me the Patra with which she had been entrusted. She created a joyful gifting ceremony at Muir Beach.
